She boasts an impressive scientific activity, highlighted by a large volume of articles published in prestigious national and international journals, authored books, as well as international awards conferred by: the British Ophthalmological Society (Top 100 Scientists – 2018, IBC, Great Britain; Taylor and Francis Group – Recognition 2019) and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (Excellence in Ophthalmology and Medical Genetics – iERP Awards 2019).
