Dr. Brîndușa Petcariu is a neonatologist, pediatrician, and a faculty member at the "Doctor Luca" Post-secondary Health School. Regarding child care, her dedication is reflected in her participation in numerous conferences and congresses organized by the Romanian Association of Neonatology and the Romanian Society of Pediatrics, as well as in her work on scientific papers specializing in the fields of neonatology and pediatrics. The pediatrician is the one who oversees the growth and development of the young patient throughout their childhood, so it is essential for the doctor-patient relationship, and implicitly the doctor-parent relationship, to be harmonious, friendly, based on trust and professionalism. Dr. Brîndușa Petcariu believes that before being a doctor for the young patient, one must first become their friend, enter their world, capture their interest, understand their needs and fears, and temporarily set aside the role of a doctor to become the companion with whom they fight together against the enemy (the illness).
