With multiple specialization courses completed abroad (at the University Hospital of Cologne, the ERKNet Center in Heidelberg, and Harvard University) in nephrogenetics and nephropathology, as well as rare kidney diseases, Dr. Costea George-Claudiu strives to provide each child with proper care and offer families complete and relevant answers. Recently elected to the board of the congenital nephropathies working group within the European Society of Pediatric Nephrology, Dr. Costea was also part of the first series of mentees of the European Society of Pediatric Nephrology, being mentored by the renowned Professor Detlef Bockenhauer (London, UK).
