With solid expertise in neurosurgery, Dr. Cucu offers consultations for the diagnosis of various brain and spine pathologies, within the multidisciplinary neurology and neurosurgery team of the Emerald Center in Iași.

An important milestone in Dr. Cucu’s professional path was obtaining an international research scholarship at the Kasr El-Ainy University of Medicine in Cairo, in 2006.
In parallel with his clinical activity, Dr. Cucu has extensive scientific activity, being a Senior Lecturer (Șef de Lucrări), PhD, at the Faculty of Medicine and Biological Sciences of the “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, a member of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies, and co-author of over ten medical books, including the Treatise of Neurosurgery published by the Romanian Academy Publishing House in 2014.

Throughout his career, he has participated in over 60 training courses in the country and abroad, the most important of which was the Skull Base Surgery Course in 2021, organized by the University of Strasbourg.
