Education

  • Graduated in 1993 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara, and after the internship period, completed a cardiology residency between 1995-2000 at the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases Timișoara.
  • Between 1997-1998, he completed training fellowships in interventional cardiology in prestigious hospitals in Austria (AKH Vienna) and Israel (Hadassah University Hospital Jerusalem), obtaining national certification in interventional cardiology in 2000.

  • His scientific work has been presented in over 100 conferences, publications, original studies, and research grants, especially in the fields of:

    ✓ Inflammatory markers in coronary stent implantation
    ✓ Gene therapy in critical limb ischemia
    ✓ Stem cell therapy after acute myocardial infarction
    ✓ Telemedicine for monitoring patients with cardiovascular diseases

Job experience

  • Since 2010, he has worked as an interventional cardiologist in private medical centers, acting as Medical Director of the Cardiolife interventional cardiology center network (Timișoara, Constanța, Arad) and the Angiomedica Bucharest Cardiovascular Diseases Hospital, and in 2020 he took over the coordination of the cardiology department of Pelican Hospital Oradea.
  • The medical activity was combined with teaching activity as assistant/lecturer within the Department of Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timișoara (1995-2009).
