Dr. Carmen Blendea is a Senior Specialist in Endocrinology with over 30 years of experience, including 15 years in the U.S. healthcare system.
She graduated from Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca in 1991 and completed her specialization in endocrinology in Romania (1995) and the United States (2010), working in hospitals affiliated with Yale University and University of Massachusetts.
Dr. Blendea holds Board Certification in Endocrinology (ABIM) and
ECNU (Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound), a recognized competence in
thyroid ultrasound and interventional procedures.
As a faculty member at UMF Cluj, University of Massachusetts, and
Tufts University Boston, she has combined clinical practice with research, contributing
to the development of diagnostic protocols in endocrinology.
