She completed her Neurology residency in Belgium, obtaining in 2008 the Diploma in Neurology, with the grade Excellent (national exam, Brussels, 2008).

Courses

She obtained, following the DIU, competences in epilepsy (September 2016 – June 2018, exam Brussels, 2018) and in medical management (January 2019 – June 2019, exam Brussels 2019).
Throughout her career, Dr. Ralea completed training courses in Mons, Brussels, Belgrade, Paris, Gothenburg, Toulouse, Prague, Barcelona, Nice, London, Lisbon, Hamburg, Glasgow, Luxembourg, Iași, and Bucharest.

Job experience

She worked as a neurologist in Belgium for 18 years, 11 of which as the head of the Neurovascular Unit / Stroke Unit at CHU Ambroise Paré in Mons, Belgium.

Performed procedures

Her medical areas of interest include neurovascular pathologies, epilepsy and degenerative syndromes, neuroimaging techniques (carotid-vertebral and transcranial Doppler ultrasonography), as well as electrophysiology techniques (EEG, NCV/EMG, evoked potentials).
