In Romania, Dr. Ruxandra Dumitrescu has one of the highest success rates in in vitro fertilization due to her experience and expertise in applying advanced infertility treatment methods, and has so far helped approximately 3,000 couples with fertility problems to have a child.
The most successful outcomes are achieved with the help of the only embryology laser in Romania, used for activation and mobilization of spermatozoa when there are spermogram abnormalities, and for preimplantation embryo assessment in cases with more than 3 failed fertilization attempts.

Starting in 1994, she has also been engaged in teaching activity at the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Her professional activity began in 1993 in the operating room, and from 1994 to the present she has distinguished herself by presenting numerous scientific papers and by participating in various conferences and congresses, including: European Menopause Congress (Vienna 1996), International Congress on Controversies in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Shanghai 2008), ESHRE Congress (Stockholm 2011, Istanbul 2012, London 2014, Lisbon 2015).
