Dr. Victor Titirez is exclusively specialized in the treatment of breast conditions. The vast majority of his surgical activity focuses on breast cancer, with over 90% of procedures performed addressing malignant pathology.
He gained his experience in this field during nine years (2010–2019) of working in dedicated breast pathology centers in the United Kingdom — including York Teaching Hospital, Medway Maritime Hospital, and Chesterfield Royal Hospital. His expertise was formally recognized in 2018 when he obtained European certification in breast surgery after passing the accreditation exam in Lille, France.
Since 2019, he has returned to Romania, where he performs surgeries in the private healthcare system. The surgical procedures he carries out cover a wide range — from various oncoplastic surgery techniques to complex reconstructions using autologous tissue (latissimus dorsi flap) or implants.
Following the UK trend, he is a strong advocate of conservative treatment and immediate reconstruction. His work is closely integrated with other specialties involved in the diagnosis and treatment of breast pathology, including imaging, oncology, radiotherapy, pathology, and genetics. All patients undergoing treatment are discussed within the multidisciplinary oncology board, which he leads.
