She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology at the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy. She has been a member of the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory since 2008, coordinating the development of laboratory protocols for genetic association studies and contributing to research focused on understanding the neurobiological mechanisms and the interaction between genetic and environmental factors in emotional regulation. Since 2023, she has been part of the Promedical Center team.
Education
Prof. Dr. Vulturar C. Romana has been a medical doctor since 1996 and earned her PhD in Medicine – Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2004, both titles obtained from the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca.
She also completed a master’s degree program in Molecular Medicine and Neurosciences, and between 2000 and 2005 she undertook a residency in Medical Genetics, being involved in the diagnosis of rare diseases, such as genetic metabolic disorders.
